Re: Woman
As proof I (we) really don’t understand women, this one has been messaging me more in the last few days than she did whilst dating, making it sound like this was a push for more commitment (??) and so we are meeting up for a chat later.. maybe she reads this forum!? 🤣 Tl;dr - woman be crazy! Time t...

Re: Harry’s Garage
He did say it's torque limited in 1st and 2nd gear which I assume would mitigate some clutch wear.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Motorhome finally sold last week. It was a spur of the moment purchase early 2022 after 7 years of touring caravans and although great fun we never used it enough to justify having nearly £50k sat in it. Not sure if it is luck or they are always financially good news but it only depreciated £2k over...

Re: Today’s want
It looked a right handful in the Harry video and can't imagine anyone ever got out of a new M2 and felt it lacking power lol

Re: Today’s want
The G series cars have a chunkier transmission tunnel which seems to dwarf the manual lever.

Re: The House Projects Thread
We've been waiting on a bathroom fitter for 6 months. I checked in with him early March to make sure he was on track for late April start and now he's not returning calls and I believe he's blocked me and the wife lol
So frustrating!

Re: Woman
It's important to remember it's ok to be single as well. You're not defined by being in a relationship.
When my wife leaves me as I'm a dickhead rather than berating me for it I'm going solo for a bit.

I believe they were not manning the phone lines until September but have announced a U-turn yesterday.
Clearly a ridiculous policy given it was nearly impossible to get through last year when they were open!

I'm pretty sure it is not related to being carless but if it is you've dodged a bigger bullet
Re: EV Thread
Looking at replacing Mrs Holley's i3 as almost had it 6 years and done 83k. Battery warranty runs out at 100k miles and is a mild concern. Although she loves it, this long period of windy days has reminded her how rubbish it is in crosswinds on dual carriageways. Looked at all the potentials (has t...
Re: BBQs
Dancook do a load of variable height grills. I've had one and it lasted 10 years outside with no cover and my mate has had a couple forever for kebabs/tepenyaki .
They are great but pretty specific in what they can do though.

Re: Your fleet running reports
There can’t be that many conventional cars needing £6k of engine work at 30k and under 4 years old. There's not many EVs that do either. Undoubtedly that motor could be repaired/refurbed but as with my E46 M3 gearbox the manufacturer replaced it at a cost of nearly 10k. It was 4yr old and done 40k ...

I always felt my 996 was benign on 255 tyres. Perhaps the higher levels of grip from bigger tyres meant you are travelling much quicker requiring a greater level of skill to explore.
