You used to need a licence to store more than 30 litres and that may be less in our nanny state now.

Re: Selling Cars Privately
Slight topic twist, which of the dealer options is best/easiest to deal with? FiL is wanting to sell his car (62 plate Mk6 Golf Match 1.4TSi DSG w/70k miles) as he'll probably have to give up driving due to health issues. Either way it is a second car that spends most days sat unused in front of th...

I was asking £18k for my E46 M3 which was mint and still under extended warranty. Chap turns up loves the car and offers me £15k I decline and a local dealer offered to sale or return it for £17,500 to me as he didn't need to prep or warranty it. The same pleb bought it off him a few days later for ...

Re: EV Thread
530 is a phev now as is the merc e300 at 2210kg.
I'm not here to argue on the internet just pointing out it's not any heavier than an ICE equivalent.

Re: EV Thread
They only sell hybrids 530's in the UK at 2080kg your figures are US market.
At 1910kg the RWD Inonic6 is not noteworthy of being heavy for a car of its size.
ETA they are similar in size 5m long, 3m wheelbase and 2m wide.

Re: First Cars - Insurance
Whilst kids have a provisional and are learning its probably the norm rather than viewed as fronting hence why most insurers cancel the learners cover when they pass. Beyond that point I suspect its as Rich puts it, how much are the insurers trying to mitigate a claim. Going back to Ascenders moan t...
