Re: 6 Nations

You rarely see Ireland out muscled and I had backed them in my fantasy 6n team 😳

The first half was like watching one of the awkward scenes in Sexy Beast. I WAS WINCING LOL

Re: Robot Lawnmowers

They're everywhere in Sweden. No idea how they set them up to avoid hazards - whether it's wire perimeter or other but they have some fairly "naturally edged" gardens in the suburbs. Even the municipal buildings in Gothenburg all had them.

If we ever get the back garden redone I'll be looking ...

Re: Barley in soup

I love a soup or stew in winter and have made one pretty much every week recently to get my weight down and control my mid week eating.

Chicken Leek and Barley was controversial here as well. Me and my son loved it but the girls were unsure rather than disliked it. The texture is unlike other ...

Re: EV Thread

I've missed the i3s over the last 18 months and been looking at buying another but they havent depreciated at all and can't face paying the same as what I sold mine for 18 months ago  :D

I started looking at new EV's like the Ionic 5N but they were still very expensive to insure for my kids ...

Re: Just advertise the ***ing price!!

The local Renault and Dacia dealer has dynamic pricing and don't put prices on the cars on forecourt anymore. They go up and down depending on supply and demand etc but they did say they would honour the price we had screenshotted if it had gone up on my dads new to him Duster.

The other stuff is ...

Looks like a nice job though 8-)

With busier roads and the vilification of speeding and driving in general stuff like that appeals to me more and more.

Re: Holiday prices

As Jobbo says the cost of accommodation has risen in Europe across the board as has luggage, flights appear cheap but by the time you add luggage your eating some hefty inflation :D

We paid about £4k before covid for a nice all inclusive place with an attached waterpark in Ibiza, that was for the ...

How efficient and wonderful these were, some modern fueling and ignition and these would be awesome current cars for the environmentally conscious.

Dave!

Or just buy an Up.

I struggle to comprehend these are a 45 year old design, they still look great with the M-Sport bits on 8-)

Although I also struggle with the £50k asking price you see them at

Re: Your fleet running reports

My M2 came on Yokohama Advan Sport V107 which appear to be highly rated and G87 M2 specific.

My own experience has been great in the dry, mediocre in the wet and frankly terrifying in the cold as temps get down to near zero. I appreciate its dangerous rwd with circa 470bhp but even with the tc all ...

Re: EU combustion engine ban loosening

All speculation but I'm hoping sense will prevail with range extender or hybrid type tech to qualify.

The new Smart#5&6 PHEV does 177 miles on electric with 430bhp. There must be some middle ground that can be agreed on PHEV mandates to satisfy an EV requirement e.g minimum 150 mile range which ...
