Re: Mini E

Mini E was technically an i3 wasn’t it? At least I remember all the technical stuff underneath the i3 having Mini logos on it. I think I’d just go for an i3 which is more spacious, better city car, rwd, better quality materials.

Battery and drivetrain is based on the 33kw i3 so likely to be ...

Me and the wife are in Dublin for the game, win or lose you're going to have a great time. 😂

Cracking weekend of rugby, can't wait for super Saturday next week. Wales are on the brink of getting over the line 😎

Re: Parents car you hated most as a kid

My Dad would be best described as a value buyer of cars currently on his 2nd Duster in his late 70's.

He has pretty much always bought new and had a Mini when I was born in 76 which was replaced for a more suitable family car. A viper green Skoda Estelle 105 saloon this was replaced around 83 with ...

My wifes Bug Eye WRX Wagon was 200ish running the kids around and part of the reason it went. My G87 M2 would only take 50l for circa 250 miles!

how is it £200 a month? the honda site is more like £300 - is that the dealer support on top of the main honda deal?

I believe that is only for the black cars which may now be all allocated, it will be £10 ...

Re: Car insurance

Smart Brabus #1 arrived last week and I've barely driven it as the kids have been borrowing it. Half the price to insure versus the M2 for me and the wife at circa £300 annualised and only £252 to add my 19yr old son for the next 7 months for a 430bhp 4wd car - happy days.

Then added my 20yr old ...

Re: 6 Nations

From the BBC highlights page, pretty much as I said above :(

"Wales? Brilliant but beaten, losers on the day but with so much to build on - and a little bit to complain about, too. If that Turner try ended up being the decisive moment in the game there was another moment, on 64 minutes, that could ...

Re: 6 Nations

You don't get the rub of the green when you've lost as many games in succession as Wales have. There was also a penalty advantage to us when Tomos Williams got penalised for a 'croc roll' which on another day would have gone back to our penalty rather than for Scotland.

A bit disappointing but much ...

Re: 6 Nations

There's a lot going on in Welsh rugby as the WRU are intending to cut 1 of the regional teams and appear to have made it a 3 horse race despite the Ospreys being the most successful region.

I would imagine a considerable amount of those empty seats are down to protest rather than just people not ...

Has it? Isn't that just telling us that France are on another level and should win it at a canter.
I say this with a hefty dose of blind loyalty but if Wales win tomorrow it would be. It would also be a very French thing to do to use an old cliche :D

Re: Robot Lawnmowers

They're everywhere in Sweden. No idea how they set them up to avoid hazards - whether it's wire perimeter or other but they have some fairly "naturally edged" gardens in the suburbs. Even the municipal buildings in Gothenburg all had them.

If we ever get the back garden redone I'll be looking ...

Re: Barley in soup

I love a soup or stew in winter and have made one pretty much every week recently to get my weight down and control my mid week eating.

Chicken Leek and Barley was controversial here as well. Me and my son loved it but the girls were unsure rather than disliked it. The texture is unlike other ...

Re: Just advertise the ***ing price!!

The local Renault and Dacia dealer has dynamic pricing and don't put prices on the cars on forecourt anymore. They go up and down depending on supply and demand etc but they did say they would honour the price we had screenshotted if it had gone up on my dads new to him Duster.

The other stuff is ...
