Re: Your fleet running reports

I've taken this as a green light as long as I move on the i3s so I've ordered an M2 for September delivery. Its nice to have something to look forward too. CAF 8-) But electric to petrol? Do you not care about the planet or any of our futures? Aren't we always told that those who have gone electric...

Re: Oliver Reed (25 year anniversary)

A very early supporter of lawnmower racing. He used to arrive at the 12 hour race having entered a team (obviously he never drove) with a double decker bus kitted out as a support vehicle (the kind of support was a bar, seating and hangout area for him and his friends) and proceed to embark on a mar...

We’re about £400,000 short of this. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/125466722#/?channel=RES_BUY You then have a lake and a lot of land aswell. Dave! That ticks a lot of boxes for me. Same, just a shame about where in the country it is. But then if it was down here it would be £2m without the...

Re: Your fleet running reports

The 1 355 I’ve been in felt like a kit car compared to the 1 360 I’ve driven. Proof if needed that the 360’is a better bet if you want to drive it. Or if you are a man with taste and an ability to attract the finest of ladies, get a 512 TR in black with caramel interior. Dave! I don't doubt that, a...

It needs warming, lubricating and a sufficient amount of space for a run up.

Re: Parking

I've seen this where the spaces are up against a wall which could be stained by an exhaust if you were an idiot and sat there with your engine running, and I've also heard about malls insisting on this as it means their security have a few more seconds to nab you if you do a runner (as it's slower ...

Re: MC Conrad

Not really my genre, but I did catch him a few times at Dreamscapes in the early 90's with Bukem when they hit the main stage, far too young to go and he certainly didn't look ill in photos.

Re: Parking

That's pretty self explanatory, look at the angle of the car parking spots, it's not easy to reverse in as the angle will be too sharp. Only if you are a bit special, I looked at it there at the time and thought I could do it in a oner even in my L200 (which I can get in a few surprising spots). Mi...

When in Florida last year I came across a carpark where reverse parking was banned and punishable by a fine. Oddly it's not the only place in the US where this is the case. Picked up a set of rear disc's and pads for the TVR from GSF today. That and a couple of cans of brake cleaner was a whole £61, branded Delphi stuff too. Would have been about £180 from a TVR parts supplier, but as they are just xr4×4 stuff there's a lot to be saved. Now just need to shake this cold...

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement

First one of those, the taxi is legally stopped but with reversing lights on, and then opens his door into the cyclist's path. So the cyclist has reason to feel aggrieved. But nobody hurt anyone and the 'Dutch reach' nonsense is fucking idiotic; cyclists are told to cycle further from stopped traff...

Magma or DCR? I can understand this, if you have something in the garage for weekend it's needs to feel special, involving and different. The Emira looks really good and reminds me of the 458, which of the modern Ferarris is my favourite. Not a massive 911 fan, I get they drive well but just not for...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..

As it typical of this government (or any government really) this is a ham fisted introduction to the policy change. However, in the background, I do think there are certain aspects of modern life which need to be "nipped in the bud" somewhat before Pandora's box is opened and can't be shu...
