Tonight

DJing my first roller disco in a few weeks started feeling rough on the way here. Sat behind my desk alternating between normal and roasting hot. Going to kick off a live mixed set in a minute hoping to distract myself for an hour or so. At least I have a decent pre mixed list I can swap to if I nee...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Picked up a full Prodrive exhaust last night including sportcat downpipe and 3rd Cat delete. Already have the back box so will move on the duplicate. Will be having this fitted soon and the car will get a remap. Can't decide if I want (and can finance) a new bigger turbo and uprated fuel pump at the...

Re: Bagels

Ciabatta's weird. It's a very open texture but somehow also really dense. I prefer a baguette for soft and fluffiness. I thought I read ages ago you had to be gluten free, Did you not have Coeliac (interested as I can't do lactose myself amongst other things) or did the doctors screw up? On this su...

Re: Bagels

Unfortunately, it's impossible to talk in a Scottish accent without sounding like an idiot (shut up JL ;) ). Nope  Ah you guys are alright I suppose :D Weird one about ciabatta being heavy - I've always thought of it as a light, fluffy sort of a bread. Are you Northern types slathering it in l...

Re: What new old car - Audi A2 v. Mk1 Renault Twingo

Instead of the mundane shitboxes mentioned, would a bugeye Impreza WRX not be an interesting thing to tinker with (although having a face only a mother could love, but the same goes for the original Twingo)? Surely more fun than an A2 or Twingo, the EP3 Civic R is also cheap and fun, both that and ...

Re: Been a shitty week

It's shitty indeed and you have my condolences. Having had the news a few weeks ago from my father that the specialists can do no more for him (chirossis due to Alpha-1) and to get his affairs in order, it initially left me speechless (although after his hospital visit I kind of knew it was coming) ...

Re: Favourite YouTube Channels Thread

Edd China’s new channel. https://youtu.be/V8czNR5JIB0 I know Deskjockey didn't really like it but I think it fared well for a pilot, considerably better than the Goblinworks Garage bollocks I saw on quest last night, truly awful viewing. How Edd has ended up on youtube (maybe he's onto something he...

Checks article, phew, seems to only effect 13" devices without touchbar, my 2017 13" has a touchbar, which probably makes sod all difference.

Re: What's wrong with yours?

Front ball joint or trackrod end needs doing in the Impreza, I'll get this booked in when i have the new exhaust (Prodrive centre section and downpipe with sport cat) and maybe a bigger turbo and get them all fitted at the same time. Navara still needs the the cruise sorting as it hasn't worked in a...

Re: Commercial property for private use

A mate of mine had a unit at a local farm that they use for storage and occasional spannering. I think it has running water and power. It would fit about 10 cars quite happily. He shared it with another guy. He may be looking for another partner as they don't do as much spannering anymore.

Re: One make Facebook Groups

The Subaru Impreza owners one appears to be mostly populated with fucking spastics. There are a few characters in there that are OK, but they are few and far between. Like broccers I've stayed around for advice and the buy/sell aspects of it. In the Navara one there don't seem to be many on there th...
