Re: The Movie Thread

Gladiator 2 - if I take it in isolation it’s ok, a 6/10 but as a sequel it’s shit in every way. It’s no where near as good as the original. Much of the CGI was really rather poor (looked like a PS4 cutscene for many of the big battles) and the soundtrack meh.

I watched half of this on the ...

Ooft - sounds like you are still in the thick of it :? You seem to be finding strength though, and great to hear about your family / friends supporting. 8-) Fingers crossed they find a better combo of meds. :geek: (edit - the medical professionals - not your family & friends  )

Such a tough time - keeping my fingers crossed you reach a stable point. Its very frustrating when you can't pin down what's causing it or treat it consistently.

Always warms my heart when people who you've never met randomly message you because it's been a while since you've been on an inconsequential internet forum :D

Obviously due to my recent health complications it's a sensible move to have an appropriate smartwatch for me - except its pretty dum at being a smartwatch and very good at being a health tracking watch

I posted before about his dioramas of Mel Gibson getting arrested for drink driving and Michael Jackson's hair getting set on fire during a shoot for a Pepsi commercial , so this is the obvious follow up: the Jeff Bezos Rowing Boat.

Confirmed to be a 10 place grid penalty for Sainz for using too many engines - that is harsh for something not his fault and was easily preventable had F1 been a little more circumspect about a brand new track that they've invested $500 million into!

Got stuck with both yesterday afternoon - Covid in the left and Flu in the right arm, just a dull ache in each that is slightly worse in the right arm from the flu vaccine but otherwise no symptoms, and I'm not expecting any based on previous years when I didn't have any either

I've not really followed F1 for a few years but the debacle of this race has still reached me.

Brawn GP - The Impossible Formula One Story.

Really enjoyed it, by, Luca De Montezemolo is still very bitter isn't he?

Ex F1 drivers e.g. Eddie Irvine, Jenson Button etc surely have the cash and talent - not to mention corporate contacts to get someone big onboard to sponsor the net carbon zero aim of the project now......
