Re: People (Office)

We've got an eight days/month in the office policy. It isn't too bad a commute, and there is definitely a benefit in terms of being able to have a quick chat. I do prefer working from home, but I knew the terms when I joined.

Re: Decent Recent TV

I finished watching this last week and absolutely loved it. Beautifully shot and fantastic acting from the Japanese cast - I'm less sure about Cosmo Jarvis. I've actually ordered a book - "Anjin - The Life and TImes of Samurai William Adams" but believe it's on back order at the moment. T...

Re: The Movie Thread

Anatomy of a Fall (Prime) Very, very confusing. Watched it in two sittings as I fell asleep first time round although that's not the film's fault. The lead is fantastic, carrying the whole film, and the plot leaves you guessing with no obvious outcome. I do hope the portrayal of the functioning of ...

That’s a lot of car for the money! It's definitely a lot of car. It's also a lot of money. However ! For a Range Rover with more LWB, for less money, this is being auctioned next week. I'm ashamed to say that my borough voted overwhelmingly in favour of Susan Hall. Luckily the rest of London isn't quite so insane.

For clarity it wasn't a dig at his size, we're all the size we're meant to be!

It should read as MX5 1 GET, with the 1 representing I. It was about his desire for yet another MX5.

Re: Randomness

Deep, man. I mean Loch Ness. It's deep and long, that's why it has more water. Isn't it technically that Loch Ness has more water than all the lakes in England and Wales? (as opposed to more water in the red area) i.e. I guess the "lakes in England and Wales" doesn't include reservoirs an...

Same, just a shame about where in the country it is. But then if it was down here it would be £2m without the land.
What a cheek, it’s a mile down the road from me 😂
