Car seats are also blooming heavy, although I guess you could lighten them if they no longer have to be crash resistant!
Taking out the air bag and seatbelt pretensioner would probably be a good start.

Re: Running

He also recruited the local MP to run it with us (whose primary motive was photos for his insta/FB, fair enough I guess  ) My local MP turns up to parkrun in running gear, says "it's a lovely day for it" and buggers off home running maybe half a lap. The girlfriend does parkrun...

That's very cool! 8-)

The person I bought the BMW seat from sold the passenger side one to someone who was making a seat. The big thing to consider is that the squab on a car seat is much thicker than an office chair so it could end up with the seat not going low enough.

Re: Flightradar24 fans

Something incredibly loud flew over the house yesterday that didn't show up on Flightradar. It was above the clouds so no visual but the only things I've heard that compare were a B-52 or a B-1B. I was down there yesterday and heard something - mid-afternoon ish, perhaps between 3.00 and 4.00pm? Lo...

I'll see your Polish, Latin Cockney and raise you a Ginger. Ian, she sounds like she's used to playing games to get her way rather than using her grown up words. You're well shot of her. to be fair - your one was completely mental. Her cooking was amazing though. You got the highlights. My co...

Re: Woman

Bumble has got me more dates, Tinder is a wretched hive of scum and villainy. I've only had one match on Hinge and it's got me into my current relationship and she seems remarkably sane by my standards.

Sorry to hear it's gone to shit, Ian.

Re: HMRC Automated Phone System

I think my record is 2 hours on hold. They're chronically understaffed so just don't have the capacity to deal with anything. I had a lovely example last year when HMRC didn't update the company's Direct Debit and fined us £12k. I appealed it online but it came down to a multiple choice question tha...

P.P.S - members who renew for a second year get access to a Smart with Hula Hoops crushed into the carpet.
Which flavour? If it's beef or the rare cheese and onion, I could be tempted.

An ExGF had labyrinthitis and after having a go on a VR headset, was really ill. Fortunately, while I was searching for her medication back at the lodge we were staying at, she found a bar that did flights of sherry and got pissed which seemed to help. I've got a Samsung TV and G9whatsit but I...
