Re: Gordon Murray T50 Live Launch

Love it. Engine must share a lot with the Valkyrie, presumably the same team are doing both. Both sound like incredible engines, I'm loving this final hurrah for the NA V12s. More details on the TG video. It's a step on by the sound of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4EIYQ6fkG4 Give it 3 years...

Re: Gordon Murray T50 Live Launch

I'd like a look at the venturi and the shizzle it does to change the downforce from underneath.

The doubling of downforce under emergency braking is remarkable.

I'll take mine in purple tin purple.

FP1 and FP2 have been cancelled at Imola for "logistics reasons". FP3 on Saturday has been extended from 60 to 90 minutes.

Re: 1st 6months with the McLaren 720S Spider & an "Issue"

Your powers of observation are quite keen. I wrote this one in one sitting and then decide to post it up. Normally its a multi day process. I did some writing years ago and the thing that made my writing good/passable was an editor and plenty of rewrites. I see my main selling point being that the ...

Re: 1st 6months with the McLaren 720S Spider & an "Issue"

This post seems to be a bit more rushed than previous articles you've written. It's almost like it's missed an editing stage. It's still a fascinating read and I enjoyed it but it seemed a little less polished than your usual work. I'd demand a refund but... Well, you know. Your powers of observati...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Jobbo & Dave! both missed nuttin’s post ?? Ah, I thought he was commenting on the interior colour scheme. Which is excellent 😃 While I’d rather have the 1.8 than the carb 2.0, it’s still the bottom of the range. Won’t be hammering anyone into dust. I think I might have bought ExMrsChoo1's Mk1 Focus...

Mik is Scottish secret service ( Och aye 5) so english law has no jurisdiction over him.    I believe under Scotchish law you're entitled to an appeal. This can only be performed outside a co-op on a thursday morning after both drinking 12 cans of purple tin. If you can convinc...

Re: Harry’s Garage

Based on the fact the Mr M has just driven past his and our local in a DBX, silver, LHD, I’d say a DBX review is incoming. Looking forward to that one. Sounded bloody gorgeous and looks just as good. He mentions and drives it in his most recent Harry's Farm video. It's embargoed until August 10th. ...

Re: Holiday Refunds Thread

IMO thinking about going on holiday abroad at the moment is both selfish and stupid. Stay local and take care of your family and have consideration for other people. I saw a mutual friend, formerly of this parish is in Greece this week. He's having a great time but I suspect that if it was me, my a...

Is the MR2 one of those cars which goes from “sticks like shit” to backwards through a hedge in an instant or am I thinking of something else? The Mk2, especially the Turbo did. @dan used to make driving his Mk3 sideways look easy*. The early S2000's were snappier than a crocodile in a bathtub full...
