Re: Jerry can recommendations
We've got about half a dozen here of various vintages all the way up to a recent one from screwfix. They all store and pour fuel. Just get whatever's the most convenient.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Did a Walshy fun day at North Weald yesterday with some folks off SELOC. Can't have much more fun for £100! 12 cars, so you don't get a ton of time on the various circuits or much tuition (although Walshy did jump in with me once, and I have been before so that's ok), but still a load of fun. What ...

Re: Collecting cars
It'd never occurred to me that the quality wasn't that great, I was just enjoying listening to another free bit of entertainment.
You lot know how to suck the fun out of everything

Re: Decent car YouTubes
c£100k though? Seems a bit pricey to me for what you get...and I'm a big, big fan of the K-Series but I just think you could get a Dan-spec car as good for less than half that. (Although fair enough, he mentioned they stuck with the K to get into the US). Not any more you can't, I'm finished workin...

Re: The 'suggest a new car for Chris' thread
A rev counter seems a bit uncouth for a vehicle of this calibre.

Re: FECPOTY 2023
Good point. Building to your own spec is more EVO than buying something off the shelf. I win then, surely :D Not on the road yet! :P  Although you did buy another S1 in 2023 that could be a contender for the main prize. ;) No I meant I win because I built yours  Plus mine is running now a...

8-) I don't remember your dad having a 620R! Beast. Does he let you drive it? I look after one for a guy and they're not as beastly as you might imagine, being rotrex charged they've got no low down torque and by the time you've got them wound up enough to feel quick the aero kills the spee...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Remind me again, how much is this thing gonna weight wet? IIRC 600-700kg? Or was it less than that? I suspect the power to weight and bhp/litre numbers at the end of the day are going to be intimidating  It currently weighs almost exactly 500 kilos. Its missing bodywork, front calipers, a pass...

Re: Your fleet running reports
9500 is probably a sensible limit, I might do a few runs a little higher just to see where the power tails off, but with the revs only dropping around 1000rpm between gearchanges that'll keep me right in the sweet spot - its not making less than 320hp from 8500 onwards which makes the average power ...
