Re: Lotus Elise S1 - tyres?

For an all round road tyre stick with Yoko AD08 if you can get them. Otherwise, toyo 888R's are a good semi slick at a sensible price, likewise Nankang AR1's are popular and good value. Alternatively blow the budget on a set of Yoko A052's as they are about the best road legal tyres you'll get for it.

1997, barely 10k km, titanium/red, completely original, Alpine front loader 3 CD radio, from Germany. Always wanted one since fiest seeing it at the 1996 IAA in Frankfurt. That's after the MMC disks were replaced by steels I suspect - is that the case or is yours a late MMC model? I have no idea ho...

Also spotted: CA11 HPE and a Cooper S on the way to Feckenham in a hurry 😎😃 I was going the other way, sat in a leather armchair listening to Rod Stewart in a diesel S class doing about 37mph. Never felt quite so old 😅 ... Until I saw a Caterham racing a motorbike towards Ombersley about ten mins l...

We've got about half a dozen here of various vintages all the way up to a recent one from screwfix. They all store and pour fuel. Just get whatever's the most convenient.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Did a Walshy fun day at North Weald yesterday with some folks off SELOC. Can't have much more fun for £100! 12 cars, so you don't get a ton of time on the various circuits or much tuition (although Walshy did jump in with me once, and I have been before so that's ok), but still a load of fun. What ...

(Although fair enough, he mentioned they stuck with the K to get into the US). Not any more you can't, I'm finished workin...

Got more than that for mine but it had less miles and was an 09 car, seems like a good price to me though.
