Re: The Watches Thread

How about the Oris Divers 65s? Plenty of sizes and colours to choose from. I know they are dive watches, but so is the BB36 ;)

Re: The Watches Thread

Picked up one of the new Seiko 5 Sports while I was in HK a couple of weeks ago. Seikos are cheaper in HK and shops openly offer discount, so it worked out about 60 quid cheaper than buying it here. So far, I'm impressed, fantastic watch for less than 200 quid. https://www.dropbox.com/s/iupqc3rmvn4y...

Re: The Watches Thread

Tudors are widely available at most high street authorised dealers. Depending on the model, I'll be asking for 5-10% discount, although zero discount for some of the more popular model such of the Black Bay GMT and 58 (both still waitlisted). If you're interested, I've got a full set BB GMT brand ne...

Re: Cash machine blunders

Back to the original topic, a while ago, I went to a self-checkout counter in Asda to pay for food, only to forget to lift my change and walked away with the food only. Lost about 11 quid that day, lesson learnt.

Watched John Wick 3 last night.

More of the same and incredibly silly. Good fun though.

Re: FTAO of Dr Alex

I thought it was strange seeing a red 996 GT3 around here, as I've never seen one before, then I saw you and thought it can't be Kin until you flashed me :D . The GT3 is lovely mate, it really stands out and look miles better in real life than pictures. I live in Kilmarnock, so I travel up and down ...

Re: 60-100 times

Dom(ster3000) was using the unbelievable performance of his incredible modded Cupra as the basis for his entire happiness or rather lack thereof, and was absolutely incensed that my Fiat was quicker. He accused me of cheating, of the road being downhill etc etc and finally decided that, many insult...

Re: Your fleet running reports

While washing the car yesterday, I've noticed on three out of four wheels, the lacquer/clearcoat is beginning to crack. The wheels were refurbed last year and at the time, I wasn't too impressed with the service I got from The Wheel Specialist. Gonna take the wheels to a local guy who has a good re...

Re: Your fleet running reports

That is rather shit. Which branch did you use in the end? Was it the one I recommended? 😳 Aye, that branch. I was pissed at the time when they didn't inflate one of the wheels correctly (23psi instead of 2.3bar FFS!) and one other wheel was leaking air cos they didn't screw the stem in correctly :r...

I blame him for the outage.
I don't like to point fingers...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Found out today that it isn't my wheels that need balancing. It would appear that both rear wheels on the M140i are not as circular as they ought to be. Can't get in to friendly BMW garage until 27th due to "stuff" to get them looked at and a warranty claim put in the their evil overlords. Wheels l...

95% of the Stranger Things set done and..... a single missing brick.

Arse!
Barry or/and Simon will correct me but I think you can ask Lego to send you missing parts (even though it might have been your own fault  ). The Stranger Things set is cracking, need to find time to build it.
