Re: Your fleet running reports

Tangent, but I used to really fancy a 75 3.0V6. The more aggressive Veloce looked too try-hard at the time, and just horrible now... Still nice :) https://i.pinimg.com/originals/a2/01/7c/a2017c56eefc039654e7809a083ea1b2.jpg Isn't that three cars badly welded together? ;) Yes. It’s an Alfa. Nope glu...

Re: Your lockdown purchases.

I've had a little splurge as I have been furloughed this week.
  • 4.7m multipurpose platform ladder.
  • 3M aluminium telescopic water fed brush for cleaning conservatory roof.
  • Black & Decker type work bench
That makes me feel better about jobs I won't get around to doing 😂

The 911’s are cheap..
Someone paid £6k for a shitbox XR3 🤯🤯 They were rubbish back in the day so I can only imagine how awful they are now.

I saw the ISS go past then one of the starlinks nice and bright then sod all. Just sat by the Chiminea chilling and watching the night sky while camping in the garden 😂

My 6yr old saw them too which was cool. Tomorrow's tiredness tantrums will be anything but!

Re: Lockdown cookery thread.

I ordered some meat this week from www.turnerandgeorge.co.uk . Some burgers, 1/4lb steak sausages, supper pig sausages, deckle steaks and some minced Mutton. We've BBQ'd the sausages an burgers so far and they've been superb. Today decided to use the mutton mince to make the Leena peas recipe from T...

Your tags are cringeworthy  Meat looks good, how did you cook it? Re: CTIIRWOIWAHO

That’s a HELL of a lot of car for £15k 8-) But someone has stuck a BMW badge on the idrive wheel. Got to have doubts about an owner who does that???? 🤔😂 I hadn’t noticed that, on second look that V12 badge on the dash, that can’t be factory, can it 😂 These crimes have probably added to it's apparen...

Re: Wedding rings

We had platinum wedding rings made by a local chap who did a small amount of bespoke stuff but his main income was engraving high end shotguns. They're only plain bands fwiw and it was a better price than a high Street jeweler. Mine was a smidge too big and fell of a couple of time. Easy enough to r...

Re: Talented Audi Drivers

None of my cars (which I've used a GPS satnav on anyway ) have been 10% out, even the e30 wasn't that far out. Alfa and merc are both 2-3mph out at 70. I ran the car today with the OBD scanner and at a fixed 70mph that was telling me we were doing 67.88mph. That would seem about right with the M140...

Indeed. Mine only over reads a similar amount
How accurate is your GPS satnav ?
It's approx 2-4 mph under the speedometer 😂

I’m surprised it’s geared high enough to hit that, being a turbo. Don’t the new M5/M6 only go to 190 delimited? RS6 only does 190 too iirc so some of it is the speedo overreading.

M140i for reference Max's out in 6th still with revs and another 2 gears. 7th is geared for 210mph 😂

Re: Talented Audi Drivers

What the fuck has he down to that RS3 to get it up to those speeds? (I also wouldn’t be surprised if it was stolen) Probably not a lot. The M140i will hit 160 with ease and plenty left in the tank and that's only 360hp. It’s got to be tuned though, especially with the rare at which it was putting t...
