We've used Tado on the rentals in similar replacements.

iirc as easy to nick as modern keyless entry stuff, except the technology required to get into them was- half a tennis ball

I love Haggis. The best ones I remember were bought from a butcher in Forres back when I lived in McScotland.
You can shove your neeps though. Bloody awful things. Mash and garden peas accompanying the main event.

I never really desired an Astra 16V - by all accounts their handling was poop - but they were the fastest (in a straight line) hatch of their day.
I can't see one however without being reminded of a mate. We weren't super close but we ...

I followed a Fisker the other day and thought it looked smart and more compact than I'd imagined. I liked it.

I got taxed by a restricted hours thing in Ealing last year. Tiny signs designed to catch people out. Especially when you don't know the area.Jimexpl wrote: Thu Jan 25, 2024 4:42 pm Yes, you’ve probably missed one of the discretely placed residents or restricted hours signs - it’s fun driving around London these days!

Everything was delivered this morning at 8.30am and set up sharpish
As expected the TV looks bloody great and I'm liking the Ambilight. It's amazing how thin the panel is.
The Naim sounds fabulous and feels beautifully built so I'm very happy.

The speakers in it are Focal which are supposed to be superb. I can't wait to get it set up and give it a blast. I'm certainly no audiophile like some of you so it may be wasted on my ears

I have gone against forum convention and ordered a Philips 55OLED808 TV for the hall without seeking validation.
I saw one in Richersounds and it looked great. Seems to get good reviews too.
Also ordered a NAIM-MU-SO-G2 for the sounds and to plug a turntable into so the wife can play her LP's
