Re: The Movie Thread

I've just booked VIP seats at an Empire cinema for £2.95 each. That's awesome!! It very much appeals to my Yorkshire sensibilities 😂😂

Re: The Movie Thread

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood That's on my list - apparently not brilliant but will see for myself :D I've seen quite variable reviews. No spoilers in them, nor from me, but I think it'd be worth watching just for Tarantino's cinematography. A refreshing change from CGI everything, even if he may w...

Roast chicken in the bbq came out well today. Lidl charcoal seems good. Staying hot for ages.
Have you got a meat thermometer? And doesn't BBQ chicken stay way more juicy than when done in the oven!
Yep, a handy gadget.

Actually I think it was twice.

Re: Any Weber fans?

I was just thinking the other day we needed a bbq thread. I have a crappy old gas one but last weekend bought a barrel one from Tesco that was only £18, including cover. It has the adjustable air holes and a temp gauge. Going to try beer can chicken this weekend amongst the more usual burgers etc. ...

I blame him for the outage.
I don't like to point fingers...

108oF and blue skies here... high humidity (85%+) in the mornings though. Sat by pool drinking dark and stormys (stormies?) made with Gosling’s Black Seal rum and Gosling’s ginger beer...I’ve just worked out I can commute from here! 😂 Gosling's is lovely. BMW B58 engine teardown

Interesting video pinched from a babybmw post about the B58 lump that's in many BMW's and the new Supra. I found it rather interesting.

Re: Holiday or endurance trial?

That sounds ok. I love renting a villa/house for a family holiday as I like to cook when away as well as eat locally. Going to find food and thinking of cooking with it is enjoyable for me. The thought of going to some kind of resort filled with lots of people and their grotty kids (family own are e...

I always bring a small crate of Kitchen Stuff when self catering in the UK and at least my knives (Checked Baggage of course ) when self catering abroad.
Hang on, hang on. Foh realz?

Re: Holiday or endurance trial?

Just as an opportunity to vent. I'm on a caravan holiday in Devon with my wife and 2 kids, something we've done 20+ times in recent years and always enjoyed. As long as we've had a pool/beach and bar it's worked out 😎 This time we've had torrential rain and 50mph wind for 3 days so far and my menop...

I don’t think it’s bad either, I paid £40 to watch the Lion King which was shit. look at the X Class. I see 10 a day in London all driven by young men and women who have never touched a hammer. And that’s a rebadged overpriced Navara!
A mate of mine is getting rid of his X-Class as he's sick of people taking the piss out him and asking about his Navara
